UNICELLULAR ORGANISMS: how yeast carries out the process of nutrition.

1. Take three plastic bottles and add the following ingredients to each one:

• Bottle A: 100 ml warm water, 1 spoonful of sugar and 5 grammes of yeast
• Bottle B: 100 ml warm water and 5 grammes of yeast
• Bottle C: 1 spoonful of sugar and 5 grammes of yeast

2. Put a balloon over the neck of each bottle. Then leave the bottles in a warm place for 20 minutes
